William Golding, in his anecdotal novel Lord of the Flies, has made one of the most incredibly detailed, enamoring works of American writing. It is a direct story of a couple wrecked students that drastically transforms into a multifaceted story of unending double dealing, craftiness and hard and fast desire. It is in this story that three young men, Ralph, Piggy, and Jack, come to play the significant pieces of pioneers to a gathering of kids who are battling for the privilege of endurance.
